About this painting: The portrait is of Henry. The title is based on his comment when I asked him about the tattoo on his forearm. As a deeply humble soul, he currently resides in Durban with his wife Edna who happen to have been a professional and beautiful ballerina in her youth.
About this painting: This portrait is of my close friend, Riaan. It is probably more of a large sketch in oils. The other day, him and I were arguing whether we knew each other from 2 or 3 years old. You cannot box him, and he happens to be an avid Tolkien fan, as is depicted in this painting.
